We will stroll through Barcelona's medieval streets, admire its most iconic sights, marvel at its unique Gaudí architecture, dig into its rich historical heritage and gastronomy as well as enjoy its vibrant urban culture.

We can take my comfortable air-conditioned Mercedes van and head towards other must-see places in Catalonia: Costa Brava, Dalí and Gala museums, Montserrat, medieval towns, fisherman's villages, wineries, monasteries…Tell my what you fancy, I'll be happy to tailor make your tour.

Lunch in a XIX century flat in the citycenter

Should we spend the day in Barcelona I'd love you take you to my home in the heart of the city (the atmospheric Born district). Built in the XIX century, its high ceilings and barcelonan flavor makes the flat special enough to have been the set of TV series and films. We'll enjoy a choice of local tapas, wine and cava, but would you rather eat out, I have a nice list of selected restaurants ready. Just let me know your preferences, I'm a flexible person and will adapt the tour.

About us

My tour guiding experience started as a member of the Hospitality Program of an American company during the Olympic Games of Barcelona. Having a keen interest in History and Culture in general I found it a pleasure to show my city around. That took me to the States later on where I was a tour leader during the Olympics in Atlanta. I have also worked in Boston and in London.

Besides that I have a 23-year-old experience in Publishing; during my years as an Editor I enjoyed touring Spain with several writers, an experience I now share with my customers.

I consider myself a positive, dynamic and curious person. I love exploring the world and interacting with local people. As many travelers share these interests with me, I provide my tours with facts but also insider knowledge and local stories. I'm also glad to give suggestions on where to go for the rest of your trip.
I hope to see you soon!

"Absolutely amazing. I couldn't be asked for better guides to host us. The tour itself was flexible to our needs, informative, thoughtfully designed and just an absolute pleasure. The guides were amazing, so amazing that the characters here do not give me enough space to thank them properly. We finished the tours with them feeling like we had just spent two days with amazing old friends. I recommend them with the highest praise I can give"

"Cristina Hernandez Johansson made our trip to Barcelona most noteworthy! She was most accommodating in customizing our day and is superior to any guide I have used in the past. Her knowledge was extensive on all aspects of Barcelona; and her warm manner made for a most delightful tour. The icing on the cake was our visit to their interesting home for lunch! We felt truly immersed in Spanish culture of living and dining. Our meal was beyond our expectations; and the company superb!"

"Thank you Cristina for an amazing Panoramic Tour of Barcelona and for your husband Peter's time for driving us all around to the many locations that we visited. You have been very professional in your quick responses to my emails and asking if there was additional places that we would like to see. We thoroughly enjoyed the history of Barcelona and the getting out of the car to walk around, while Peter happily went home to prepare us all an amazing lunch. Thanking you both again"
